JOB PURPOSE:

Stage Crew is a federal work study position that directly supports the Music Department and is supervised by the Performance Events Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Stage Crew are responsible for setting up and running the technical aspects of concerts/events at Lewis & Clark.
  • The technical aspects include running basic lights and sound in LC's three main musical performance venues (Evans Auditorium, Agnes Flanagan Chapel, and Gregg Pavilion).
  • Other job duties include setting up equipment (instruments, risers, music stands, mics, cords, etc.) and lobby/house management.
  • Running Box Office for ticketed events. Other behind-the-scenes duties may be assigned.
  • Training is provided. Knowledge of music, behind-the-scenes of performances, and AV is preferred.
  • Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.
SCHEDULE:
  • Because the Stage Crew supports and runs concerts, the job requires evening and weekend availability. The concert schedule waxes and wanes throughout the semester. RATE OF PAY:
  • $16.80 per hour

Eligibility to Work
